Spicy Sesame Ginger Grilled Broccolini

Top grilled broccolini (or any veggie, for that matter) with this zesty, Asian-inspired dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb broccolini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, plus more for grilling
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 jalapeno, chopped, seeded and stems removed
  • 1-2 tsp ginger paste or fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to high heat. Toss broccolini in a bit of olive oil to coat. Grill the broccolini until tender and preferred level of charred, about 5-10 minutes.

  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and add salt and pepper to taste. If you prefer a completely smooth dressing, pulse in a blender, but I prefer to keep the chunky texture of the jalapenos and sesame seeds. Pour over top of the broccolini.
